UK Plug-in Solar Products We’re Tracking

We’re building an independent directory of complete UK-compliant plug-in solar kits. We will only list products where there is credible evidence that the complete supplied kit meets the UK rules.

We will not present individual components, imported balcony-solar products or unverified packages as suitable UK kits. As compliant products launch, we aim to build a comprehensive and reliable directory for UK buyers.

What you need to know

The new legal route is due to begin on 27th August. From that date onwards, complete compliant kits can be sold and self-installed in the UK.

Products can only be sold as compliant UK plug-in solar kits if the complete supplied configuration meets the official rules and product specification.

Our tracking has not identified any compliant kits currently available. We will only add products once there is evidence that the full kit meets the published UK requirements.
